This is the first in a series of shoots at Union 206 Studios . I originally attended their lighting workshop (which was great by the way!) and Charles Butler (the owner of Union 206) recommended that I book Bella for a shoot and that he would help me get started.
Honestly speaking, I tried to convince myself many times that I wanted to cancel on the day of the shoot. After all, who was I to use people's time to create some photographs? It may be just me, but this sort of passitivity and feeling of "not being worth people's time" has affected me in many ways outside of photography. When I got to the studio, Charles calmed my nerves a lot by simply telling me that
"Most of the time, the model is as intimidated (if not more so) of you than you are of them."
This gave me a ton of confidence and took so much pressure off! It's amazing what just a few simple words can do.
Hope you enjoy my first studio shoot ever!
